The hand made brooches became very popular due to lack of materials during WW11 and this sweet hand made brooch is a contemporary copy from a make do and mend brooch of the time. Recently brought from the UK. It is substantial in size at 7cms x 7cms. It is made from tiny beads wired together to form the flower heads and leaves with a cotton wrapped stem.
