This charming antique brooch is modelled as a butterfly, resting upon a leafy branch. Crafted in silver throughout, the butterfly is set with various agate panels- representing it's wings and body. The leaves are wonderfully detailed and its crafted in silver throughout. 

Although this beautiful insect is thought of as "Psyche" - the soul, the butterfly is also believed to be a symbol of change. Their life cycle from a humble caterpillar to a chrysalis and finally a beautiful butterfly mirrors the journey of growth and transformation.
